A Very Merry Disney Senior Trip: Day 2 (AM)

We were headed to the Magic Kingdom this morning and opening the park was on the agenda! It was EMH this morning so we had to get up bright and early to be there by 8 a.m. No problem for the five of us, but after sitting up almost all night, the grads weren't quite as raring to go. One of the best parts of staying on property, the transportation! The buses, boats, and monorails make getting around Disney stress-free, everyone can come and go as they please. So, the five of us started our first park day with the excitement of opening ceremonies....

and we were soon walking down Main Street (some for the very first time)!

The decorations were amazing!!! I'm so glad I finally got to experience Disney at Christmastime. We decided to take advantage of the low crowds and check out a few attractions. What's a trip to WDW without doing It's A Small World????

then Mickey's Philharmagic (3D show). The girls called and said they were on their way out, so we made our way to the front of the park to meet up with them. We saw the Fairy Godmother as we passed through the Castle.

They said the boys weren't answering their phones, so we kept calling since we had breakfast reservations at 10:30 and they needed to head out soon. We saw Mary Poppins, and did a meeet & greet with Snow White.

While some did a little shopping, I took a few pictures of the decorations....

We headed over to the monorail, hoping the boys would show up soon.....it started to rain, still no boys..... it looked like we might miss our reservations, so we sent everyone else ahead, and Jackie, Melissa, & I waited. They finally showed up, and we made it to the Polynesian with no time to spare!
