Our Disney Vacation 2014 {day 3-part 2}

The CM told us that we had gotten another upgrade. We had chosen a preferred room, which we got, but we got a better location. I had hoped to get Fantasia or Toy Story section and we got Fantasia section 5 room #5818. Awesome! Our room was minutes from the pool, food court, laundry, and buses.....plus, we had a king size bed.
Even before we had stayed at All Stars, I had decided we were just giving it a try and probably would go back to a moderate next time. But as soon as we saw our room, and walked around the resort, we both agreed......we loved this resort!!

Magic Kingdom was open until 1 a.m., so we decided not to go back out until it was time to go to dinner. We had ADR's at Kona, so we took the monorail over to the Polynesian and only had to wait a few minutes before we were seated.

Seared Tuna....Peter's favorite appetizer. We paid OOP for that.

The NY Strip and the fondue for dessert.......just as good as I remembered!
Cost: $80.92 {or 2 table service credits}

After dinner, we went back to MK. It was a little foggy, but at least the,rain had stopped. We rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Pirates of the Caribbean, then found a spot to watch Main Street Electrical Parade.

It started to rain again, but we pulled out the ponchos and headed over to the Castle to watch WISHES!!

It was so foggy that this was as much of the fireworks we could see. :0(
We decided to call it a night after that, even though the park would be open a few more hours. Even with the rain, we still had a great day!!!
