52 Photos/Week #25-Nature

Picking blackberries is a childhood memory I'll never forget. Even today, whenever I see a blackberry vine, I can't help but remember the hours I spent picking them, and then selling quarts of them to my neighbors. I love blackberries, straight from the vine, but my favorite recipe using them is a Blackberry Roll that Peter's grandmother used to make. I've tried copying it, but it will probably never compare to hers. It was a flaky pastry rolled out, filled with a sugary blackberry filling, rolled up and baked until golden mouth is watering just thinking about it. The blackberries are plentiful right now, maybe I should fill my bucket and try my luck again with her recipe...............

These berries look so fresh. I have never had a chance to pick up berries in my life. So to me it is very attracitve.
