The Simple Woman's Daybook - July Edition

Outside my window... it is threatening to has been soooooo hot. Today was a bit better, but I think it will take a storm to cool things down.

I am thinking...that the summer is going by too fast!

I am thankful...for phonecalls from Logan.

In the kitchen...there is some left-over pizza from dinner today.

I am pjs. I'm heading to bed soon!

I am creating...a summer mantel {just need to switch out a few patriotic things}.

I am have the whole bed to myself tonight...:O) That doesn't happen very often.

I am wondering...if we'll soon get some tomatoes from our garden. There are tons of green ones, but none have turned red yet {a little late this year}.

I am hoping...that my MIL makes out okay with her test in the morning.

I am looking forward to...going kayaking again soon!

Around the is VERY clean!! I took the day off and gave our house a good cleaning!

A favorite quote for today...

One of my favorite things...watching movies. The most recent movie I watched:
Pinned Image
love it!!!

A few plans for the rest of the plans, I guess just work.
A peek into my day......

It was a slow day at work, so I decided it was a good day for me to stay home. Peter left this morning to take his Mom to have a test at the hospital, so Nathan and I are home alone. I gave the house a much needed cleaning, got caught up on laundry, paid some bills, and ran a few errands. Nathan wanted pizza for dinner, so I had the day off from cooking as well. I did make some glazed carrots {I know you are thinking glazed carrots & pizza????}, but I told him we needed a veggie, and that's what he picked. LOL :O)

Hmmm... pizza and glazed carrots - definitely a different combo, but I love them both.

I live your quote - so true that we often rush through minutes that can never be replaced.

I really love it when I know my house is very clean. Enjoy yours!
