Dresser Makeover

I'm linking up with Thrifty Decor Chick for a Before/After party to share my dresser makeover!!!
I posted awhile back about how I finally got rid of our ugly bedroom furniture.
Actually, I did keep one piece, the tall dresser, to hold Peter's clothes. It was in desperate need of a makeover as you can see.

I removed the clunky, brass hardware

and painted the dresser with Behr Espresso Beans paint. I chose polished silver hardware which gave the dresser a more updated look.

I also organized the drawers while I had it emptied for painting.

It's amazing what a coat of paint and new hardware did for an old piece of furniture that I was ready to throw out!!!
