My review: this is my second time trying catfish, and in spite of my previous thoughts about eating catfish, it is just sooooo good! :O) It had been awhile since I had gotten a BA shipment, and I actually had missed pausing it that week, but it worked out perfectly because Peter was doing his 3 week tour on the boat. It's hard for me to come up with 2 weeks worth of dinner for one meals, but three weeks was going to be a challenge. I had just claimed my free trial box with Green Chef (see review), when I realized I had this box coming too!

I have, for the most part, LOVED everything I've cooked from Blue Apron. This recipe was out of the box for me, especially the black garlic, but it was super tasty and all the flavors just went so well together. The fish was seasoned and fried perfectly and the black garlic mayo was a delicious twist on the classic tarter sauce. The red cabbage slaw was seasoned with sweet chili sauce which gave it a little spice. It only took me about 30 minutes to prepare this delicious meal! Another win for Blue Apron!!
