Monday's Mom Tip [2/52]

[2/52] I'm in the process of organizing wrapping supplies (Christmas included)
that I will now store in my big guest room closet. :O) My goal for this year's organization is to get every like thing together in one place. This has been a problem for me in the past, keeping things like wrapping supplies in more than one location. I can never find what I'm looking for or even know what I already have and buying doubles (or even worse, thinking I have it and don't!).

A place for everything, and everything in it's place makes for a much more organized home!

Here are a few tips for wrapping storage that I plan to use:

Corral Your Gift Wrap - Propping up rolls of gift wrap in the corner of a hall closet often means wrinkled, torn or lost rolls. Here's a way to keep the rolls neatly organized and easy to reach. Make a wrapping paper "corral" by screwing a small section of wire closet shelving vertically to the side of a closet wall. Just slide the rolls in and out of the corral—they won't tumble over or get lost behind the coats.

Step Up Storage - Plastic bins are a versatile and inexpensive way to restore order in almost every in-home trouble spot. Using clear bins for storage in a garage or for a closet gift-wrap station, for example, is an easy way to take inventory and identify items at a glance. Use labels to ensure everything stays tidy and easy to access.
