5Q Friday July 8

1. Do you think cursive writing is overrated? (Schools in Indiana have now voted to take teaching cursive writing out of their curriculum.) No it's not. I think cursive handwriting should still be taught. I know it's the age of the computer, but I think it's important to still be able to write stuff down and be able to sign your name when needed.Texting and doing everything on a computer/phone is definitely the communication resource of today's generation, call me old fashioned, but give me a pen & paper anyday! :O)
2. Do you still use a pocket calendar or notepad or do you keep your info on your smart phone? See #1.....I love writing things down. I love to make lists!! And calendars....yes, I have many....a day planner, a wall calendar, a calendar for work, a dry erase calendar.....again, just call me old fashioned! I must confess though, I have become quite addicted to the itouch that Nathan gave me. He got a newer model for his birthday last month, so I took over his old one....LOVE IT!!! 3. What 3 things would you save if your house was burning down? (family & pets are already safe) {one} my scrapbook albums & pictures {two} important papers {three} our computers
4. Country Mouse or City Mouse, err Person? I think I'm more of a country mouse!
5. If you could pick ANY reality show to go on, which would you pick? Either The Next Food Network Star or HGTV Design Star...I know, I know, I should have picked something less boring like say...BIG BROTHER!!! :O) Did you watch the season premiere last night???

I'm with you when it comes to writing - cursive or otherwise. Good old-fashioned pen and paper win hands down for me! (Says I on a blogging site....doh!)
