Slow-Cooker Butternut Squash Soup


1 butternut squash - peeled, seeds removed, cut in cubes
1 Granny Smith apple - cored and cubed
1 white onion - diced
2 cloves garlic - minced
1 large carrot - peeled and diced
Salt & Pepper to taste
Dash cinnamon and nutmeg
Dash red pepper flakes
2 cups vegetable broth
1/2 cup heavy cream


Place all ingredients except cream in slow cooker. Cook on high 3-4 hours or until squash is tender. Add heavy cream, mix with an immersion blender or blend in blender after cooling.

This was absolutely delicious and super easy to make!! :O)
