3-ingredient banana bread

I really need to cut back on the pinning! I found yet another easy-peasy recipe on Pinterest that I just had to try. The recipe calls for only 3 ingredients: a box of yellow cake mix, 3 over-ripe bananas, & 2 eggs {but I also added a few semi-sweet chocolate chips and walnuts}....delish!!!

Mix together mashed bananas, dry cake mix, & 2 eggs. Stir in chocolate chips & nuts. Pour into greased/floured loaf pan and lined muffin tin. Makes 12 muffins and 1 regular sized loaf.
Bake @ 350 for 35-40 mins or until golden brown, less time for the muffins.

I didn't get a picture of the finished product since things got a bit hectic as the day went on. The guy from Window World came by to give us an estimate and get the measurements for our new windows. They should be installed in the next 3-4 weeks. I can hardly wait to replace our old Anderson windows!!

Then, a little later that evening, Peter had to go to the health center to see the doctor. One of his finger's was infected and wasn't looking good. After getting a blood test done, the doctor sent him to the ER due to a very high white cell count. His white cell count was even higher once we got to the hospital, and after several hours, several tests, an IV, and an antibiotic IV, they let him go home with more antibiotics. The infection had worsened in no time at all, this is definitely something you don't want to mess around with. It's looking much better now!
