Christmas is even more magical when you see it through the eyes of a child!
The light in their eyes when they look around the room each morning to see if their Elf has magically moved, or they gaze at the bright lights on the tree is priceless!
Kamry is old enough this year to know that her Elf will be in a new spot when she gets up.
How precious she is as she goes around the room calling......
"Ellllffff, where are you???"
Rowen is not even 3 months this Christmas, but you can see the magic
as he gazes at the lights on the tree!
While we were watching him the other day, Peter was opening oysters in the kitchen. I propped him on the counter and Peter and I started singing Christmas songs....
"Who's got a big red cherry nose, Santa's got a big red cherry nose....Who laughs this way HO-HO-HO......Santa laughs this way HO-HO-HO.....Must be Santa....Must be Santa....Must be Santa, Santa Claus!"
HE LOVED IT!!!
We watched a little Rudolph....and then we sat next to the tree and Rowen just stared at the twinkling lights in amazement.
The grandchildren have definitely brought back the excitement of Christmas for us!
I love every minute I get to spend with each of them and enjoy getting videos and pictures when I can't be there.
I wish everyone a MAGICAL Christmas, filled with the wonder and excitement of a child!
