A Very Merry Disney Senior Trip: Day 2.....continued

After breakfast we got back on the monorail and headed back to the Magic Kingdom. We stopped at the Grand Floridian to see the ginormous gingerbread house and to sample some cookies!

The grads had gone ahead of us with one mission in mind: RIDE SPACE MOUNTAIN!!! I think they ended up riding it a dozen times before the day was over. When we got to MK, we headed over to Frontier Land to tackle another mountain........Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! We waited for everyone to meet up with us and soon we were off!

Being the dare devil I am, I snapped pictures as we rode! LOL

Once we got off, we split up again. I jokingly suggested riding Splash Mountain, and I was very surprised that Jackie, Gina, and Melissa agreed. Neither of them had ever ridden before, so everyone was a little scared. It was so funny when we took the 50 foot plunge........

We not only were screaming at the top of our lungs.....but we got soaked! It was hilarious!!! We could do nothing but laugh, our bangs were plastered to our foreheads! LOL
But what did we do?????

Yep, we rode it again!!! LOLOLOL

After this, we thought a snack was in order. We stopped at Aloha Isle and got Dole Whips!!! We headed to the hub to meet up with Charlene and Marissa to watch the parade. The others were still riding Space Mountain. By now, it was very chilly (some thought it was freezing, I was fine, but you can't go by me these days), but we stayed and watched the parade anyway. Love Disney parades!!!

Once the parade ended we decided to go back to the resort to warm up, and to change our clothes. We had a party to go to!! We had tickets for MICKEY'S VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!!!
