Summer Bucket List : Coffee on the Beach

HELLO☀️MONDAY 

Summer is flying by - I can’t believe we are just a few weeks away from Labor Day - which pretty much means the end of summer to me. It’s been a different kind of summer with everything being so limited, but I’ve still tried to enjoy some {extra} things, like morning coffee at the beach with Mom. 💙 I’ve been doing a SUMMER BUCKET LIST for several years now, and while this year’s list was all about stay at home and social distancing, I’ve enjoyed them all. This one today was extra special! 

Here’s what we’ve checked off so far: 

⛱ beach day 

💦 water balloons 

🔥 new grill recipe 

🚤 boat to lunch 

🎣 go fishing 

🇺🇸 celebrate the 4th & 💥watch fireworks 

🍧make snow cones 

☕️ morning coffee on the beach

 

💑 unplanned day trip 

🌈 tie-dye T-shirts 

🍓make jam

08.08.20 - Boat Day + Lunch at Bayside Inn Restaurant 

I got the bread bowl....best crab dip ever!!!

I tried the Orange Smith Island Cake ~~ yummmm

Peter got the stuffed flounder dinner 

and {cake} for dessert too....a CRAB cake!! :O)

fire hydrants, tents, and stuffies...oh my!

Rowen shared his fire hydrant love with Kamry! ❤️ 

They had a fun time together and got along surprisingly well for toddlers.☺️ 

They both love to PLAY - and can have the most fun doing even the simplest things like making tents and playing baby/mommy/daddy with their stuffies.

Our Beach Day!!

This is 100% the highlight of my summer. To have several hours together with my family, roasting hot dogs over a bonfire for dinner, then swimming with the grandkids. To some people this little beach day may seem ordinary, but to me it was the best.day.ever!
